Introduction

Under the auspices of the State Government of Gujarat, the Plastindia International University (PIU), Vapi was founded in 2016. In 2009, in accordance with the Gujarat Private University Act, PIU was granted the authorization to function as a private university. The Plastindia Foundation (PIF), which was founded with the purpose of advancing the plastics sector, is in charge of the organization's management. The establishment of the university was motivated by the need to meet the educational needs of students in the areas of engineering and technology as well as management. The University Grants Commission has acknowledged PIU Vapi as an accredited institution (UGC).
